SEND Friends is a parent-led, neuroaffirming support service offering peer support, resources, and information to families of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Services are not medical, diagnostic, or legal in nature.

All content on this website is for general information and guidance only. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, SEND Friends cannot guarantee that all information is up-to-date or applicable to your specific situation.

3. Peer Support Services

SEND Friends offers non-clinical, strengths-based support from lived experience. Any advice, guidance or support provided:

  • Is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or educational advice.

  • Should be used to support—not replace—professional or statutory input.

  • Is based on personal experience and specialist knowledge, not clinical qualification.

SEND Friends does not offer diagnoses, therapies, or advocacy, but may signpost to appropriate services.

4. Confidentiality & Safeguarding

Confidentiality is respected in all support sessions, except where there are safeguarding concerns or where disclosure is required by law. SEND Friends is committed to promoting safe, supportive environments for all families.

5. Booking, Payment & Cancellations

  • Full payment is required in advance to confirm a booking.

  • Cancellations made with more than 48 hours' notice may be rescheduled or refunded.

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances.

  • SEND Friends reserves the right to reschedule or cancel services with reasonable notice.

Full booking terms are provided at point of service confirmation.

7. Limitation of Liability
