School–Family Partnership Support
Bridging the Gap Between Home and School
When communication breaks down between families and schools, it's the child who suffers most. SEND Friends offers a gentle, relationship-focused support service to help rebuild trust, improve understanding, and create a shared plan that truly meets a child's needs.
Whether you're a parent feeling unheard or a school trying to support a complex profile, I can help facilitate open, respectful conversations — always with the child at the heart.

This service is ideal for:
Parents who feel dismissed or overwhelmed by school processes
Schools seeking a deeper understanding of a child's needs and behaviour
Situations where relationships are strained, and progress feels stuck

How to Book
Email info@sendfriends.co.uk or use the Contact Form to enquire. You'll receive a welcome email, consent forms, and a chance to ask any questions before we begin. Consent from both school and adult with parental responsibility must be received in writing as part of the booking process before I am able to take part in Session 2, the joint school meeting.
All sessions are led by Leanne Thompson, Peer Support Facilitator, autistic parent carer and neurodiversity advocate with years of experience helping families feel heard, supported and empowered, as well as working productively with settings for the best outcome for children and young people.
